SOFT WASH SERVICE AGREEMENT & PREPARATION CHECKLIST

1. Scope of Work

Soft washing of exterior surfaces using low-pressure application of cleaning solutions (typically sodium hypochlorite-based) to remove algae, mold, mildew, and organic staining.

2. Client Responsibilities (REQUIRED BEFORE ARRIVAL)

To ensure a safe and effective service, the client agrees to:

  • Close all windows and doors securely

  • Remove or cover delicate items (furniture, cushions, décor, grills, etc.)

  • Turn off exterior electrical equipment if applicable

  • Inform us of any known leaks, faulty seals, or problem areas

  • Keep all pets inside during service

  • Ensure water access is available and functional

Failure to complete these items may affect results and/or delay service.

3. Plant & Property Protection

We take precautions to protect landscaping, including pre-wetting and rinsing vegetation. However:

  • Cleaning solutions may affect sensitive plants, flowers, or vegetation

  • Pre-existing plant stress increases risk of damage

  • Client assumes responsibility for identifying delicate or high-value plants prior to service

4. Surface Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

Soft washing reveals true surface condition. The client acknowledges:

  • Existing oxidation, fading, or discoloration may become more visible after cleaning

  • Loose paint, deteriorated siding, or damaged surfaces may be affected

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions that become apparent after cleaning

5. Water Intrusion Risk

While low-pressure methods are used:

  • Water may enter through improperly sealed windows, doors, vents, or siding

  • Client is responsible for ensuring all structures are properly sealed

6. Stains & Limitations

Some stains may not be fully removable, including but not limited to:

  • Oxidation

  • Rust

  • Deep organic staining

  • Hard water buildup

No guarantee is made for complete stain removal.

7. Weather & Rescheduling

Service may be postponed due to weather or unsafe conditions. We will communicate promptly to reschedule.

8. Payment Terms


Payment due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

9. Liability Limitation

Sunshine Window Cleaning Co. is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Improperly sealed structures

  • Oxidation exposure or cosmetic changes

  • Damage to unsecured or unprotected items
